How it works

From your intention to your casting night

    Choose a ritual, name the person it serves, and describe, in your own words, the result you desire.

  2. Elizabeth prepares

    She writes the words of your ritual and draws your sigil. You see your casting date and a countdown.

  3. Cast on the moon's night

    On the proper phase and day, she performs the full ritual at her altar.

  4. Receive your casting

    Your video and sigil arrive by email that night. Your keepsake box follows by mail within the week.

At the altar

Every ritual follows the old order

  1. Cleansing. Sage is lit and the altar is smudged.
  2. Casting the circle. A protective circle is marked and the four directions are called.
  3. Candles. Lit in your ritual's colour: pink or red for love, green or gold for abundance, black for protection.
  4. Herbs and crystals. The traditional materials for your ritual are laid out.
  5. Naming. Your first name and intention are spoken aloud.
  6. The words. Your ritual, written for you alone, is read.
  7. The sigil. Your sigil is drawn on parchment and burned in the flame.
  8. Closing. The directions are thanked and the circle is opened.

Her story

Named for a woman Salem wronged

Topsfield, Massachusetts. July 19, 1692.

Elizabeth Howe was a farmer's wife who cared for her blind husband and raised six children. Neighbours accused her of witchcraft during the Salem trials. She maintained her innocence to the end and was hanged on July 19, 1692, alongside four other women.

Our Elizabeth Howe carries her name. She cast her first ritual at nine years old, at her grandmother's altar, and has kept the craft for nearly thirty years since. The rituals have passed from mother to daughter since 1692. She works slowly and carefully, the way it was once done: by the moon, by the day of the week, with sage, flame and parchment.

When will I receive my video?

On your casting night. Each ritual waits for its proper moon phase, usually within two weeks. Your countdown shows the exact date.

Write to us within 30 days and Elizabeth will perform one free recast at the next matching moon.

Can a ritual be cast for someone else?

Love, harmony and protection rituals may name another person by first name. Elizabeth will not cast any ritual meant to harm, control or punish anyone.
